Yamaha MT-09 launched in India at a price of INR 10.20 lacs

Yamaha has launched the Yamaha MT-09 sports bike in India at the Auto Expo 2016. With this launch, it is Yamaha’s 5^th superbike launch in India. The MT series of street naked motorcycles includes future models such as the MT-03, M-Slaz, MT-10 and more. The Japanese two-wheeler giant had registered a growth of 5% last year and will be looking to improve the fiscals this year with more launches. Given below are the detailed specs of the MT-09.

Design and Features

The MT-09 gets minimal body panels just like every other naked bike. It gets a chiseled fuel tank and an aggressive stance which adds to the muscular appearance. The front end gets a sleek headlamp while the rear features a narrow LED stop lamp. A short stubby exhaust and 10 spoke alloy wheels hone up the exteriors. The MT-09 will be offered in two colour options – Race Blue and Matte Grey.

Yamaha was expected to launch either the M-Slaz or the MT-03 in India as an introduction to the MT series of bikes, but it seems enthusiasts will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on these models.
