Maruti Suzuki WagonR AMT launched with dual airbags and ABS at INR 4.76 lakhs

Maruti Suzuki launched the AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) on its Wagon R and Stingray models over the weekend.

AMT will be available in VXi variants of both models. Apart from offering the convenience of a clutch-free driving experience, the Wagon R and Stingray models also get driver and co-driver airbags and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as an option across all variants including the base variants.

Maruti Wagon R Prices:

2. Maruti Wagon R VXi (O) – INR 4,64,609
3. Maruti Wagon R VXi AMT – INR 4,76,935
4. Maruti Wagon R VXi AMT (O) – INR 5,09,609

Maruti Stingray Prices:

1. Maruti Stingray LXi (O) – INR 4,58,219
2. Maruti Stingray VXi (O) – INR 4,86,238
3. Maruti Stingray VXi AMT – INR 4,98,594
4. Maruti Stingray VXi AMT (O) – INR 5,31,238

The prices of the LXi, VXi and CNG variants of the Wagon R and Stingray remain unchanged.

The (O) variants of the Wagon R and Stingray are equipped with ABS and dual front airbags.

The AMT variants of the Wagon R and Stingray continue to be powered by the 1.0-liter K-Series petrol engine which is capable of 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque. The AMT variants see no change in fuel efficiency and continue to return 20.51 km/l.
