Range Rover Evoque 2016 launched at a price of INR 47.1 lakhs

The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque has always been an iconic car in the eyes of the world. Though being the smallest of the Range Rovers, it the most stylish of them all. The constricted body and the beautifully placed LEDs set the balances on SUV design when it first launched.

The 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque launched at Rs 47.1 lakhs (ex-showroom, pre-Octroi Mumbai) is an absolute stimulant to this gorgeous SUV. Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL) said, “With its distinctive design, the New Range Rover Evoque is the ultimate statement of style and luxury for the young at heart. This luxury SUV has been setting benchmarks in the industry since its launch and with the introduction of the 2016 Model Year, we are confident of its continued success.” The 2016 model gets newly designed LED headlamp signature with a slightly tweaked exterior design that gives it an even more unique appeal.

The latest feature is the Gesture Tailgate Function which allows the use to just move one’s leg below the bumper to close and open the tailgate. The new Evoque gets a heads-up display, 360 degree surround camera and a 17 speaker Meridian surround sound system. The Evoque will be available in four variants, Pure, SE, HSE and HSE Dynamic.

Range Rover Evoque Pure: INR  47.1 lakh
Range Rover Evoque SE: INR  52.9 lakh
Range Rover Evoque HSE: INR 57.7 lakh
Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic: INR 63.2 lakh

The Evoque gets its standard two grille design that are marked by the two horizontal bars and a new fine mesh pattern. The Dynamic variant gets a hexagonal grille design and more prominent mesh area that gives it an additional sporty look. The newly designed LED headlamps also act as a directional indicator. The fog lamps are now LED and are slimmer than the previous version. There are larger air intakes which add to its sexy image. The Range Rover Evoque comes equipped with a 2.2-litre, four cylinder turbo-diesel engine that delivers 140kW at 3500rpms and a maximum torque of 420Nm at 1750rpm.

Similar to the pre-facelift model, the new Range Rover Evoque will also be assembled here at the company’s Pune based facility.
