Tata Safari Storme Varicor 400 launched for Rs 13.52 lakhs

Tata Motors have introduced a new powerful version of its popular SUV - Tata Safari Storme. The new model, Tata Safari Storme Varicor 400 is priced at Rs 13.52 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) and is only available in the top-end VX trim. The new Tata Safari Storme Varicor 400 comes with a new engine and no cosmetic changes to its appearance.

Another big change is the new 6-speed manual gearbox and shift-on-the-fly all-wheel drive, while lower variants continue to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Engine:

The new Tata Safari Storme Varicor 400 is powered by a powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine churning out maximum power output of 155bhp and maximum torque of 400Nm, mated to a new six-speed manual transmission.

Design:

The new Tata Safari Storme Varicor 400 comes with no cosmetic changes. There is no real change to the appearance.

Features:

The new Tata Safari Storme Varicor 400 comes with the same features from the previous Tata Safari Storme. Other than the VariCOR 400 badging on the exterior, there are no further changes to differentiate it from the regular model. It continues offering features such as a new audio system with USB, Bluetooth and Aux connectivity, rear parking sensors, steering-mounted controls and a rear passenger centre arm rest.
