Ford Endeavour 2016 launched in India at a starting price of 24.75 Lakhs

The all-new Ford Endeavour 2016 has been launched by Ford India at a starting price of Rs. 24.75 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Mumbai) and is on offer with a total of 6 variants. The new Endeavour is available with a choice of two diesel engine variants. The 2.2-liter four-cylinder TDCi unit churns 160 PS at 3,200 rpm and 385 Nm of torque at 1,600-2,500 rpm whereas the 3.2-liter five-cylinder TDCi motor develops 200 PS at 3,000 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. The 3.2L AT variant is graded at 10.91 km/l while the 2.2L MT is good for 14.91 km/l. The smaller engine is available with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, whereas the latter is matched exclusively to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 4WD system is standard on the 3.2-liter variant.

On the exterior, the new Endeavour features 18-inch alloy wheels and an unstinting 225 mm ground clearance. It is also equipped with automatic headlights with HID lights, jet-wash, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights and a sunroof on the top-end variants.

Safety features include dual front, side and curtain airbags and a driver’s knee airbag, ABS, EBD, ESP, TCS, Hill launch and Hill Descent Control, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), automatic wipers and a Terrain Response System.

Comfort features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a powered tailgate, electric folding of the third row seat backs, a 10-speaker audio system, Ford’s SYNC infotainment system with Voice Control and Bluetooth, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a semi-auto parallel parking assist system.
