JLR
has opened bookings for the 2016 Range Rover Evoque which is slated for launch
in November 2015.
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque (facelift) was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show
2015. It showcases a comprehensive range of new design features and technologies
to strengthen its status and luxury appeal. The makeover includes new LED
headlamps and DRLs, a honeycomb grille, larger air intakes, slim LED fog lamps,
vents on the bonnet, LED taillights, new roof-lip spoiler, smaller LED brake
lights, and a new hands-free function to open and close the tailgate by waving
one’s foot beneath the rear bumper.
The interior too has been revamped with
class-defining features and is now equipped with new materials and accents, a
Head-Up Display, a Surround Camera System, a 17-speaker, 825 Watts Meridian™ Surround Sound System with an 8-inch
touchscreen display, and a rear seat entertainment package.
In certain markets, the Range Rover Evoque
facelift gets the brand new range of four-cylinder ‘Ingenium’ diesel
engines. However, the Indian version could continue with the 2.2-litre
four-cylinder diesel motor that produces 188 bhp and 420 Nm. It is mated to a
9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels.
The fabulous design, coupled with class-leading
technology and luxury features makes the 2016 Range Rover Evoque an unbeatable
choice. The Evoque facelift will also be assembled in India at JLR’s Pune
facility.
