Honda BR-V Compact SUV launched in India at INR 8.75 lakhs

Honda Cars India has made its entry into the highly competitive compact SUV segment today in India with the launch of Honda BR-V at Rs. 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Honda BR-V will be launched in India next month and will be offered with the same petrol engine as is offered in Thailand. Also on offer will be the 1.5-litre i-DTEC four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque in the Honda Mobilio. The petrol engine may be offered with a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission or both, while the diesel engine will likely be linked to a 6-speed manual transmission.
